ValhallaMeme runs are of course encouraged. I'm sure people will be doing broken zangetsu runs after all. Just wanted to point out that such things won't be added to the leaderboard at this time.
Categories and rules will be added tonight. Runs can be submitted as soon as I'm done setting things up, but it may be until late July 2nd - July 3rd when things start to get verified. I'm not expecting a huge flood given the 2 week buffer that was put in place, but I'm still expecting a lot.
I'm sure there will be a lot of questions regarding decisions made. Those should be directed to the discord server. The reason categories are rolling out a day early is to help ease into the 2nd and 3rd of July as we iron things out.

Play and beat the game first, discover all secrets and such. Next, just do things that seem faster, with the goal of beating the game faster. It helps if you time things rather than just guess if one is faster than the other.
I'm sure Nintendo has no legal grounds to stand on, but it's not like some emu website is going to stand up to them. Also, they very well could have nuked all their content upon receiving the DMCA notice. A lot of rom share sites got rid of roms that Nintendo has no ownership over.
The goal is to give people an incentive to donate to an otherwise free website. It's just a gradient, I don't know why you'd care enough to make a thread about it.
But hey if you want one, go ahead and donate.
Emulators themselves can't really be illegal, can they? I'm not sure about that website, but zsnes has it's own website where you can download from. This took me 2 seconds to discover.
Oh yeah we've found some busted stuff. These things are discussed more heavily in the discord if you want to join. I'll start pinning things found there as well.
This ain't it chief. Like yeah I found night mode but the default website is an eyesore. Knowing SRC though things will stay this way though, including page customization. Wondering how long before the thread gets deleted.

Just a note: I believe the game is already on ver 1.04. Many things may be patched quickly. I know people are eager but day 1 stuff found could very well be gone by day 2. I've been told that the only thing that will be patched are soft locks that ruin the casual experience. This is pretty vague, as anything from going oob to just getting stuck in the floor, or clipping into a room you shouldn't be in could count as soft locks.
I don't want to discourage trying to find these things of course, just that they're better suited being posted in the discord server, rather than here, where they could be obsoleted right away.
