possibly, it might just be an ez shared wr though, bc the competition will fly out the window easy lmao
GG! Also I’d recommend to change that the video is not for kids, but also not restricted to 18+
sadly, final run ill do for this game and series since world records are no longer obtainable with emulators. however, i do have the emulator world record!
I still think the rhythm heaven games should be able to run on emulators, especially on Rhythm Heaven and Rhythm Heaven Fever, since the emulator is actually the one who suffers with the very very slightly longer loading times.
in most games, they don't, but using melonDS, a DS rom only emulator, in competition with NDS and 3DS have the same loading times, but melonDS is slightly slower by a few milliseconds each loading screen, which does build up eventually.
correct, and i understand what you mean, but homebrew has the ability to customize a game itself, meaning that it could make the game actually faster. emulators just take the rom and use it, meaning it doesn't change the game itself, it just acts like the console. it's impossible to speedup loading times on an emulator
but the reason why im assuming emulators are allowed in rhythm heaven is because rhythm heaven is the only game in the whole series where an emulator actually doesn't have faster loading times than the actual handheld console, which has been proven
if the moderator had a problem with it, i could use a camera and have a hand/keyboard cam. the difference with homebrew is everything is internal, so no one can see obvious changes unless they really count frames inbetween every single loading screen
I think any runs that have modifications like homebrew, or one of the emulators with faster load times should not be counted, especially since the current record is being attacked by people using homebrew. I think the only allowed submissions should be an unmodified DS, unmodified 3DS, or melonDS, because these are the only platforms that have equal load times, and they aren't modified (other than melonDS, but the load times are the same).
even i frame counted it, its 57:47, but thats without reviewing the very important aspects of the run
I think each remix should have it's own category on time completion, where Remix 1 starts as you press "YES" to choose your slot name, and would end as soon as you get your verdict. This would mean the next Remix, in this case, Remix 2 would start as soon as you get your verdict for Remix 1. (so as soon as you see "OK" or "Superb").
