Can you add Co-op Categories for smb3? me and jepsi were thinking about doing co-op

in my opinion i also think that frog any% needs to be on its own category since it's totally different run with the S+Q ability but of course it's on the moderators hands to decide.

now i have checked everything and with the new code that i used in the run (CBA1-660A D9A1-666A 3CA1-66AA) it works same way as in NES. Starts and stays as frog even with damages, deaths and powerup grabs and you can also use a pwing to get the frog speed so it also helps with normal SNES frog%!

by looking at the rules i could just submit that to the frog any% nww right?

PS: it can also be just called Frog Any% S+Q since it's obvious it's all stars

I was planning to do Frog Any% All Stars S+Q which works the same way as Small Mario Only S+Q. It saves alot of time compared to the normal Frog any% NWW. I have couple questions to ask tho.

• When you S+Q the game disables the frog code to the point where you take another death. Is that going to be a problem?

• Is there a need to do totally new category for it? I assume yes since there is no possibility to S+Q on NES..

When i get answers for these questions, i will submit full run and try to also get other people to try it.

@GrayWarden that's because your OG hardware is PAL version of the game probably.

Yo. I was thinking about also doing a Small Mario Only 97% since 6-5 is beatable. First i would like to hear @Macobra52 ;s opinion about the run. Is it only going to get added if vanilla CE mods add the 98% run?

when i was trying wrong warp with mesen, i got the "invalid api code" thing when i did something wrong with the setup so it's probably that.

I liked the idea of Any% Coinless and did a stinky beginner route Wrong warp run of it :D

I also did one without Wrong warp to spice it up. (somehow got coinless with 3 HANDS)

PS. for other categories we realized via racing that all levels expect one is possible with hammer suit mario so it would be 99% (98% if 6-5 clip is too mutch) and any% route just like small only that you take whistles from W1 and W2.

We got a idea with Japezu and Jokubotti that it would be cool to have hammer suit% as a category. It's similar to Frog% where you use the game genie code to be on hammer suit whole run. The run is unique since you need to plan new strategies for levels via missing being able to butt slide or shoot fireballs. Here is my version of the run:

It uses the Toad Texture pack since it is only meant for the showcase purposes (it would be also cool to do runs with custom textures of course :D)

Japezu was also racing so there is version with just the game genie code:

If someone who is reading this and wants to try to do the run, the game genie code for starting and staying as a Hammer suit mario is XNKXGLIE.

Frog% Co-op would be fun category :D here's my and Jepsi;s run.

Make sure you are moving right right away the first elevator turns left and the jumps need to be extremely small. If those not work try to do different timings for the jumps. you can also send video to this forum so me or someone else can analyze it.
