Why are you allowed to verify your own runs? Are we the TG? https://imgur.com/gallery/zoEMM7W
When i first watched his run (around a week after i started trying) I noticed that he is not using the same timing method as me. Then I thought it was sth like file select timing (I was using reset timing, I m serious), so i had no problem with that and I quickly changed my methods to a) be okay with the rules b ) save some time. But when i was rewatching his vid later on I noticed that he used sth closest to sda timing (aka. first character move), which saves some time. And I have to ask how should i relate to this. In newest runs after that (btw: https://splits.io/30bp , craziest run I ve ever had, reds and golds intertwined with each time and by the end I had hard time with framerates). I decided to make a similar move to what is used in smb1 speedruns -> start time at the same point, but - time difference to be fair (that I estimated to be around 3.15s, new pb used it), but will run like that be accepted? or should i start time like vague, on 0.0, but sda, or should we switch to "file select timing" and convert the times. For me the most convienient would be first option (-3.15), but i d like to hear a moderator.
There is no way that a run will be accepted based on a screenshot with stats and splits.io page, yup? If no (99%) then just tell hml that his record is endangered, because i have got close (around minute with some very big mistakes, 40 s just by eliminating them, at least 1min by consistency and wr is ready) to it and some grinding would bring me to the wr. Im worried because for my "PC" there is no way to run the game and manage screen recording at the same time, Im getting some frame drops even now (Web%)
