Oh damn. Yeah, I always figured the record would get shattered one day. It's safe to say that we were both looking for a way to spawn in the orb (and all the talons.) Nice job finding it! At any rate, I like the current solution of just having a separate category for resetting at the end screen, or anywhere else someone wants to. (And in retrospect, it kind of makes sense that clearing the save data wouldn't affect the RAM values.) And yeah, the idea behind initializing was because I'm not fond of runs where a person spends a huge amount of time prepping items or whatnot, and then starts a new game with a new timer and uses all those items that actually took hundreds of hours to gather. It's like... so all that time spent just doesn't count now? But I think two categories works fine here; one for the "new game+" method of getting the fastest time possible by any means, and another for a run straight from a fresh boot.
