I was debating that but then the fact that its done with 1 actual player and the rest are CPUs makes it all the more unpredictable if that makes sense now if it was actual individual players (like 2-4 actual players) then maybe but with CPUs theres too much RNG really and theres no perspective of the CPU players

Again both are viable options and possible in the future if necessary I Honestly would rather discuss this with the other runners see what they think on these 2 things go one step at a time

I strongly agree with what you are saying and yes I totally understand what you are saying EMU is a huge grey area with some things over others But something can look into in the future as we wanna do as many methods as possible to curb cheaters

So since recent events some people have wanted Win All Events to become a category but want to lay out some ground rules first

Before we even consider adding the category we would like to see at least 3 total runs not edited down for reasons to show menu movement ETC so please keep that in mind

A base ruleset has been made to make it somewhat easy to understand but fr this category the rules we currently have are as follows:

• Win all the events
• you do not need to play every variation of the events
• you must show "1st", "YOU WIN" Twice (can only be "YO" or "Y" on second round) or any part of "NEW RECORD" (because you are first if you get a New record) you can quit out once you see any of these
• You may play events in any order you so choose
• Timing Starts when selecting "Go To Event" on any event you so choose (on the team line up screen for ice hockey (Dream/Olympic)/curling (Dream/Olympic)/team large hill/short track relay (Dream/Olympic)/Dream Snowball fight, on the splash screen showing the controls for bobsleigh (Dream/Olympic), selecting a song in figure skating (Dream/Olympic), selecting a style in snowboard(Dream/Olympic))
• Timing ends on the last events "1st", "NEW RECORD" or the second "YOU WIN" or finished depending on event
• You do not need to view podium to have won each event

If we have at least 3 runs total of win all events, Olympic events and/or dream events we shall add the categories we are currently standing at technically 2 runs but we prefer unedited runs for full game runs because prevents cheating etc

and tbh really want to but want to see people actively run said category(ies) before added

Imma add my thoughts on the overall look on the site as well as voice some of my opinions on this update

1 the overall look for the games is nice but when looking in the series you have to go to the games tab to view them when originally you didnt have to i have no idea why this was changed I much prefer the previous look really

2 In my opinion the mod hub seems TOO simplified even though I welcome the ability to assign runs to other moderators but I do not like the new look of the moderation hub

3 Having a recent runs menu on the game leaderboards was nice for people to see what runs are fairly recent to the leaderboards was a very nice thing to have idk why its been removed that gave some people the ability to be able to see some newly verified runs added to the leaderboards if they wanted to check them out

4 please bring back runners stats on their profiles was a very nice way to view how many hours a speedrunner has got in submitted runs across all the different games they have ran

5 To be honest the size of the game banner is just a little too big and I really prefered the old look where it was same size as the leaderboards and the game stats was next to it

that's some of my main issues however there's some things i like about this update and that's being

1 Viewing the games actually shows the box art set for that game in the followed games tab and its nice it is neatly at the top of the screen when opened

2 as much as i dislike some thigs about the leaderboards like the drop down menu placement for IL runs the cleanliness of the leaderboards is actually not that bad and I welcome the addition of the little icon that shows if there is splits attached via a splits.io link

3 the overall UI looks nice and clean a little too simple but yea it seems nice from my POV depending what it is though

Overall I have mixed opinions on the new update a lot of things in the previous one felt so much better than this one but yea I'm stubborn witch change and this update to me I a little too much done too soon and some things are too simplified but that's my opinion take it with a grain of salt

Emulator I would've thought can load much faster than console as there's a noticeable difference between physical and digital its hard to say for sure if the game will load faster on emu compared to that of an official disk on console if we were to try timing without loads or loadless its a lot harder to configure for livesplit to run loadless for console games mainly why we all use RTA because its simply easier to time so ye its likely emulator would load faster as its essentially digital many games that run on emulators like virtual console games load faster because digital compared to the physical versions

Having all the categories combined will really mess with the entire layout cause there is so many categories and even having them as sub categories will make it all the more worse imo I find having it as it is easier to navigate so I will have to agree with benny on this there isnt really a point to this really it will really mess with the navigation

IKR tho helps with timing cause it ends on the frame it freezes LUL

I like the new layout it feels more like it did when I joined this website but also feels a lot more smoother and comfortable to look at However I would like to see a return of the sub country flags on the leaderboards if the user has one set on their profile or an ability for people to view them on their side

So I am a 100% toybox runner and i tried the glitches you mentioned above Firstly the game breaking glitch its very useful for any% but from my knowledge not so much 100% During testing however I noticed that you can raise and lower your height using stomping and walk around at the height that you chose after you stomped the ground though if you jump at any point without stomping you will fakll through the floor causing you to respawn at the last area you went to via a well or the default spawning area also to note if you fall in water you will be in an endless drowning loop to pull yourself out of this glitch you simply have to just take damage by any source that causes damage like pixies or TNT The second one I could not manage to trigger like you explained however i found another way to trigger it but might not be a good idea due to how long it takes to pull off How i did it was go to stage coaches entrance then inflate wall jump to get over it walk past stage coach till the stunt park driveway entrance spawns and jump down into that area back track to load the stunt park then head back just outside the tunnel and infinite wall jump out of bounds you should spawn back in the town with the buildings now unloaded The third one I could not manage to get either due to poor timing or game having set values to check for to allow the mission to complete like being on the floor and/or grabbing a ledge for example I do have evidence of attempting these glitches but don't know how to show them here aside from using google drive But this is all just my opinion others may find it more useful than I seem to see it as but yea i tried attempting them and they are all pretty easy to pull off Oh also I did them all on the Xbox one

I do not mean to add to this but i wish to further know the clarification on the SM4 Floor clip ghost grab does that mean the laser through the floor for ghost or ghost grabbing the robots as it seems unclear as I treated the ghost grab as the ghost clipping through the floor to hit the robots So if using ghost to hit robots through floors is allowed ill happily do another run to update it Thanks for everything of course

Heres my run of NMG or NMS either or funny thing its the EXACT same time as my regular Egg Shuttle run First run was IGT: 55:44.94 second run was IGT 53:14.23 latest run IGT 51:50.82

This is interesting as I have run no major skips before and have plenty of skill in the field as far as it comes to this I'm gonna start grinding out some no major skips runs in the future and probably stick to the no major skips category for future runs Edit: due to colour blindness I cannot see what strats are allowed and what are banned in this list please help

As much as you don't want to hack your switch there's no possible way to get a file with luigi unlocked without importing a hacked safe file or by doing what you dont wish to do and get 120 as mario BUT if you get 1 file to luigi you can copy it as many times as you want to only play luigi so sadly you will have to just play mario 120 star no other real option TBH

personally i really think there might not be many runners if that were to be a category due to The different console versions
