The purpose of this thread is to share Patapon 2 Autosplitter that have been recently created by Maltaran and Kaseyawolf2 on the discord and I am just here sharing it and posted it in the forums for those who have not access to the discord yet. This will assists future speedrunners who are willing to speedrun this game.

@Mat511 Thank you so much. Yeah I was confuse at first where to download it but thanks to you, I can find the file to play it on Windows version.

@ElectroLlama since the top leaderboard players attempts it on Windows, I will do the same.

I apologize. I mean by difficult is somewhat impossible to do. Do you have any rules in mind to speedrun Feeding Frenzy 2 for 100%?

@floofytail Yes it is highly recommended to have a timer on the screen to make it easier for moderator to check your runs. And console, do you mean you play this on Xbox?

I would have to reject this request for 100% because I don't really think its possible for anyone to speedrun it perfectly on every level without dying yet and we can learn that there are some bonus rounds that can be skipped to make it faster. In addition, I don't think a lot of people would want to run 100% being extremely too difficult.

Furthermore, if you die once and the mermaid don't appear and its not a perfect run means you need to restart the level again. If you run this on Normal mode, you are given lives for it. So in this case, you may need to restart that specific level all over again and it will just be too difficult to monitor and manage making it an impossible game to run at 100%. If you play on Time Attack Mode, the level just kept going if you complete and you won't be able to run back if you make a mistake.

For now, I can just say that Any% is the best option to speedrun because it is the fastest possible way to complete the game hence including skipping bonus rounds and etc.

@Darkney yes, any version is fine as long as the game is able to run perfectly.

Yes you are correct, I tried running this game on emulator and its slower than PS2. I have also compare some splits to the current WR and its different although the first 3 level is auto scroller. Guess, no point in me attempting the game since I do not have this game on my PS2 though for me to compete with WR.

Can this game be run on PC? I am trying to play the game on PC using ym PS4 controller plugged in and is it slower?

On April 20th, 2020, a youtuber named CreativiTimothy Games upload a video of to claim for 45:13 world record run. I would like to ask if this can be added into the speedrun website as the new WR.

@KanekiYani and @PALMMA Both of you should try Any% and give it a go :D

@KanekiYani I also think milliseconds should be added for all runs for more accuracy in timing leaderboards like I did in my attempts.

So recently, I just got a new world record for Left on Read Any% and I figured out how to play the game's category.

So from Day 4 to Day 20, just hold the right arrow key and spam the jump button which in this case is "space". As for Day 46, you have to becareful and time your jumps carefully because if you fall multiple times, it will bring you back to the beginning stage of Day 46. As for Day 50, hold the right arrow key and wait for a couples of seconds then spam the jump button. As for Day 52, just hold the right arrow key and spam jump button. As for Day 67, this is the hardest level in the game since if you fall, you will go back to the beginning of that level therefore this is based on pure luck to time your jumps correctly to land. (GOOD LUCK on this one)

After you have cleared Day 67, it will jumped to Day 80 in which you just hold right arrow and spam jump button again and it same goes for the rest of the Days up to Day 160.

@KanekiYani I just got my new personal best 4 minutes 29.27 seconds or 4:29.27 I am so close on beating the World Record and I am going for it. It's just Day 67 is extremely difficult and we need to time our jump perfectly, if we fall, we start from the beginning.

@KanekiYani since I played Any%, I kinda know what to do and when to jump. One more thing, in level leaderboard, in the game it is Day 46 but you wrote Day 47.
