There are impacts for certain categories due to the new elevated manner of the buildings in stations. For instance: the world record spot for the 10km run at the moment was submitted before the buildings had stairs, making it take multiple seconds longer to purchase coal and get back to the train, which is frustrating because every time I attempt to complete it I feel like I'm always at a disadvantage. Almost like the runs submitted before the new update have a handicap or something.

I feel like a solution to this would be to have different game versions for new updates, so everyone who's speedrunning on the new updates have a fair shot
