Super sorry if this is already known. I'm new to messing with this game and the wealth of info out there is staggering, so feel free to lock if I'm just noobing it up here. I just know that in all the runs I've seen, everyone goes through the dog maze, gets the statue crests (or whatever they are), and plays it "fair."

Totally by accident, I did a save last night at the last typewriter before this section, loaded my game today to practice, then found that the door where Ada first appears was already open. FWIW, PC Ultimate Edition 60 FPS on Easy.
