yes, I mean the "Twitch Name" part of the edit game page. you have to use the same that twitch uses - so SRC can actually denote the game. since the MS-DOS & SNES version use the same twitch name you have to do the brackets in your title to tell SRC that you're streaming one, not the other.

I just checked via api... @NihilistComedyHour it doesn't work because someone set up the SNES versions page inproperly. they added (SNES) to the twitch directory even tho twitch doesn't have that. tell the mod to drop the (SNES) from the twitch linking and it'll work.

after you dropped the (SNES) from the twitch linking, add the brackets to your stream's title and it'll pop up properly on src

so if your stream title would be "SUB 100 attempts!" then you just change it to "SUB 100 attempts! [Sid_Meiers_Civilization_SNES]"

you can enforce it to be shown by adding the game's url short in brackets. for Civilization's that would be [Sid_Meiers_Civilization] that way, even tho the pages share their twitch game they can still be seperated on SRC

you can make games w/ certain tags set to them (by a full-mod) not show up by default on the series page. go to your series' settings and uncheck the "show unofficial games by default" box to do so.

so yeah, it's up to you if you want the fangame to have the series on the game-page.

the runs aren't getting deleted when you create a subcategory. after creating the subcategory, press the giant, orange "SET DEFAULT FOR ALL" button to assign them to the default subcategory. after that you just have to go through all runs and sort out the runs that don't belong.

I don't quite like that @werster is part of the team, but I'm still happy that C-Mods finally got added.

🤔 I feel like you've been at this w/ another account called Fake_Speedruns and you've been told repeatedly to just point any old camera at the screen at the very least.

No Video means there's no evidence you ever even did the run, or even own the game for that matter. So if a mod verifies your run just because "it's bad enough" that person is a bad mod.

just get a camera, there's ones for 5 bucks, those are enough already. (yes, I'm very much saying @Area51 & @Dotsarecool should not have verified those runs)

tbh I feel like if you can manipulate the ingame-timer you just shouldn't be using that, as there's no accuracy in it. just use RTA on these games - no reason to use a timer that isn't timing the time.

@Patrick_ remove all special characters from your alt text field and it works w/o a problem.

@blueYOSHI SRC switched to use Markdown partially, for example italic, bold and urls are now completely using markdown. if you use BBCode, try editing your post, you will see all your BBCode has been removed automatically by the site and replaced it w/ Markdown.
