You can use the "impossible-looking fast times = unfair" thing for a lot of games on here. Someone who just completed Monkey Ball 2 story mode in an hour sees the record and a lot of runs are under 30-33 minutes, how is that fair? How would they ever reach that level of skill? Similar to how patience gets you good times in this game, actually learning what the WR does or strats that are similar enough after you've gotten used to the game's movement will get you somewhere. Here's an even better example because of how RNG-heavy this game is. Let's say someone did golden rod (catching all the fish) in Animal Crossing in 3 and a half-4 hours and saw the world record is under an hour and several runs are under an hour and a half. What you can do to achieve a good time like that is learn the useful things like how to set the time back, mashing consistently, small time saves in chores, etc. and when you have that down, time and patience will get you results.
You seem so deadset on exposing Rubiksmath as a cheater to some extent but he does use touch screen for his touch screen runs and whether he forgets to have touches show or not, that's just an oversight on his part and his runs are legit, he's spent a lot of time on the game over the months so I can understand how some of his runs may look unbelievable at first glance so please just stop bitching here about touch screen this and Rubiksmath that for gamer points on a speedrun forum, if you're so desperate for things to be done, DM a mod, Nei's a good person to talk to about pretty much anything for this game.
It was only suspected that macros were being used by top runs when no one else knew how the glitch worked.
I'm pretty sure I heard from someone who might even be a mod say that you can use bluetooth for a keyboard but I don't have anything to test that with. I've also been speedrunning for 3 years, I ran this game for a solid day after playing it for 2 months and watching some runs. I run dumb games and RNG based games but simply, from my experience, 2048 is stupid to speedrun for the most part especially with PC having the thing with holding down the keys to go super epic fast, 2 mods even liked my post so your "defamation" point is just overdramatic. Lastly, I do get you're wanting mobile versions to be completely separate but what's the point if it's literally the same game?
This game is stupid to speedrun and you're just gonna have to deal with it or you can always do your own runs and not submit them if it's that bad. It's not unfair that a touch screen run on an official version is being used by someone with the skill and patience to get WRs because you can use a keyboard for runs on mobile versions and submit them in the keyboard subcategory and if you have a touch screen laptop you can use that for touch screen runs. If you're absolutely sure the PC versions run faster or lag less (which in my experience mobile has ran more consistently) get a better phone if you can at some point or use the PC version.
That is not a moderation error and this has been pointed out before. That run is done with a laptop that has a touch screen so it counts.
You've been coming off as aggressive for a lot of this and comparing the glitch to cheating like a YouTube comment section idiot at times so it's no surprise you've been asked to just stop especially with how much you're posting and complaining about this every day since your first post. I understand you're probably quite good with no glitch but just fucking be patient and wait until the mods decide on splitting it or not and since it most likely will, just give it time for the leaderboard to be fixed in favor of splitting glitched and glitchless.
Oh, I got confused for a second because you said variable which I'm pretty sure is to show what's done in a run like "has (glitch/skip)" or "does not have (glitch/skip)", a subcategory is separated from one set of runs for whatever reason it may be but in the same category like Any% or whatever.
If emu does end up being allowed it needs to be its own subcategory.
In-game time is being implemented now and it's what's most likely going to be what would determine first or second so Wii and Wii U will be consistent in that regard and the thing with emulator is the main part of the community for this game in general has never allowed emulator for a time trial WR so I think the full game/multiple track leaderboards should be consistent with that.
Dude, there are thousands upon thousands of runs recorded since the game's release, it would take months with more runs being added on during that process if it were to happen. With CTGP and its ghost and time saving system that also means video proof would probably also not be required. It's simply not gonna happen, you're gonna have to deal with one site for full game/multiple track runs and another for time trials if you have to submit all the times you can. Also if you're gonna say one thing do it in one message, not segments, that just makes extra unnecessary notifications.
How the fuck are you comparing Wii U to emulator? The load time difference isn't even that much between Wii and Wii U (Around 2 seconds per 4 tracks if I remember correctly) and they're both official consoles. And about no video runs while I don't prefer no video runs being allowed, the ones you linked weren't WR or unbelievable.
You should use the site people are referred to when they ask this same question, I think it was the Players Page that's been used for years or something. Adding time trials here would also be unnecessary and more of an inconvenience because there's already plenty of categories here.
I think the ads thing can be fixed by turning off wi-fi and data but regardless of that, if the original app is so buggy that no phone can run it correctly, a better alternative with the same source code should be available which I don't know if that's the case with the select few other apps that are allowed.
So now your story has changed to "i just didnt record i swear"? How about the part where you clearly said you faked the run in the original post? https://imgur.com/a/0clyYeB
In April 2017 before the rules were good, only balanced items were allowed and I did a non-recorded race of Nitro Tracks, No Skips but with strategic items with someone and got 41:55, it stayed until the rule change so I edited the submission after the leaderboard and rule change to be more accurate. I'm a fucking criminal tbh.
The only run of yours that's up that's in any way sketchy is your Game Over run but I can't say for sure, it's always seemed like that though. I'd recommend having webcam on to show your inputs or at least mic since it was found that there's an exploit that only works on mechanical keyboards.
