Rando's point is what I also thought of while I was making the video. Someone can easily just replace all the textures as blank and make the loadtimes faster if they so choose. That can definitely be an issue in full playthrough runs.
For the sake of everything, this video will just be a point of reference and I also encourage against the usage of implementing textures as well. It's fun as a casual thing, but, if you're submitting records to the leaderboards there should be as much of an equal opportunity for everyone as possible.
....a.k.a play on the emulator because playing on hardware in full playthroughs is a pain in the ass because UMD loading shenanigans are a blow-up LOL
Hello! I wanted to make a thread showing how it was possible to create custom textures using the PPSSPP emulator.
I made a video about it and it's pretty long because I suck at pacing myself. This was the tutorial I used as a reference.
