@sventhereindeer planar fog simulates the fog generated by non-nvidia user. Its allowed bcoz its a vanilla feature and achievable by tweaking your hardware.

@KilleDragon well optifine mess with mob spawning and thats crucial. Sodium doesn't exist pre1.16. Until there's a replacement for optifine below 1.16, optifine will still be allowed.

@Fitzey Also my old Nvidia GTX works with sodium perfectly fine. You didn't need very high fps to speedrun block game smh... You can join discord to get the sodium backport made by MrMangoHeads that fix memory leak, and also provide planar fog setting that make nether view clearer

@Antoine thanks for recommending 1.12.2. It works all the time for Minechunk. Now i wanna do further, Any% RS 1.9+. The thing is 1.12 autosave every 30 seconds. Meanwhile 1.14+ is 5 minutes. Autosave is pretty impotant in Any% RS. Soo is there any good dupe for 1.14+?

@Roadhog360 the point is to speedrun as vanilla as possible. The only allowed mod are Optifine and Jellysquid. Optifine mess with mob spawning, thus not vanilla. So it get banned in 1.16+. Fullbright & Dynamic Light give you advantage, coz other runner dont use it. You can modify Gamma up to 5.0 in option.txt. Its vanilla and legal. Obey the rules if you want to be verified, just saying...
