100% and All Bonus Levels are no longer in misc. because there are speedruns of those categories now.
-
'Chocolate' has been renamed to 'Chocolate Castle' because it looks nicer.
-
A category in which you complete the entirety of the game called '333%' has been created as there appears to be an interest in it. It will remain in misc. until a run is completed.
-
'Explode' has been added as a meme category. Every good speedgame has a meme category.
-
The Game Rules have been updated to iron out potential questions.
-
Any% Rules now have an animated GIF that shows where to stop your timer.

Updates to Chocolate Castle, All Bonus Levels, and 100% rules to make it easier to tell when time ends.
I have not made a tutorial for the run (will perhaps do so in the future), but there should be plenty of guides on how to complete most of the levels "the normal way" on Youtube somewhere. I would just copy whatever you see in the record video and try to apply it for speedrunning. We have a public discord linked on this page. Answering more complex questions should be easier there.
There is a discord server. The tab is between 'Resources' and 'Streams'. This is the best place to ask questions regarding the game.
Regarding the categories:
- All Bonus Levels
- 100%
There are no completed runs of these yet, and the 100% definition is still being decided. They have been left in the misc. tab for now. No additional categories will be added at this time.
You seem to want to run No Major Glitches. You're running on version 1.2 most likely. Consider down-patching to 1.1 to get the autosplitter fully operational. The Discord has more information and resources. Consider joining it.
Game Modification isn't generally allowed in any speedrun for any game.
Imaesil was known to hold two world records in two different categories, but due to the following reasons, they are being struck from the board:
- Video evidence is no longer accessible.
- The runs were automatically-submitted to act as placeholders.
- Window shop discouragement.
These speedruns occurred, but these links are the only remaining evidence we have. Hell: 1:56.600 - Boss Attack: 5:38.800 -
Your 2:34 is marked as a time with loads while your 2:55 is marked w/o loads. Time without loads is the board standard. Since your 2:34 doesn't have a without loads time, it considers it obsolete.
i.e. a mistake was made during your submission and needs to be corrected.
You submit a run, and then a mod looks at it to ensure the run is legitimate, up to standards, and the information is correct.
Making a post in the forums is unnecessary.

If people have a vested interest in doing this type of run, there will competition for it, and if not, it can still be fun. Meme categories aren't often contested; they're just to have fun.
-
Getting the ball rolling for a category is the job of the runners, not the people who manage the board.
-
Forcing people to compete under your rules isn't going to be fun for everyone. Rationale aside: Most people would prefer to run without scum-warping.
-
The categories you see on the board already have runs, or are highly anticipated to have runs in the future.

Category Extensions are only provided to popular games that have been out longer. Extensions aren't just given to any game. This category you're proposing would end up somewhere in the Misc. Tab at best.
And let me reiterate that you don't need a leaderboard to run something. If there isn't "fun competition" for something, it's because nobody wants to do it. Try running the category you're proposing and see if you actually like it or not. Just asking for more categories isn't going to get you anywhere.
First and foremost: You can already run whatever version of 77 that you want; You don't need a leaderboard to run a category.
It's 77 Spats because you need 75 to get into Lab Door without using scum-warping, and you get 2 more during the Boss fight. It's a name, not a requirement. It's more arbitrary to tell people they can use a trick, but not in one specific instance, which is what you're saying should be the case.
Afaik, there isn't another way of getting past the Lab Door, so allowing scum-warping in the case something else is discovered is really just asking for change based on a hypothetical.
I disagree, but okay.
