If you've used all 3 of those programs and none of them worked it's likely an issue with the game itself. Does it work without windowing it? If not do you get a crash address?

Sorry for not making this thread sooner, I wasn't at home pretty much all of yesterday.

The modifications section on speedrun.com isn't exactly easy to reach, and most of the modification boards were made because we didn't have any kind of category extensions. For these reasons, the modification leaderboards have been migrated over to category extensions, this allows runners to find them with ease and have everything in the same place.

Currently the old redundant boards still exist, but this will likely change as they won't serve much purpose anymore.

@Zeeweey you don't have to shoot it with a sniper rifle at all. But yes the gas tank on Jizzy's car is on the back for some reason, shooting the door is a nice easy setup.

So the entire ruleset was changed even though you (50% of the moderation team) disagreed? That and the fact that the sped up run was verified in the first place proves that DukeNukemFTW is in no position to moderate this leaderboard as they clearly have no idea what they're doing. They made a huge blunder and instead of making it right, they killed the entire game and leaderboard in an insane power trip. Take this how you will, but they also appointed a new super mod who days prior had made a forum post saying they were just learning the game? How can you expect people to take an interest here when the moderation team either:

1. killed the game by making absurd rulesets, and then changing them once someone beat their time in a power trip and couldn't detect a sped up run
2. is still learning the game/run

The new rules are ridiculous, and were only changed as a power move by the mods. At the time one of the super mods hadn't even completed a run, which made it clear they weren't fit to run the leaderboard. Instead they made new dumb rules that invalidated every single run that was ever done, and killed the game entirely

To translate what Patrick is saying, that happens when your PC has been on for ages so just reboot every once in a while

@Derpeth @D0moTheRussian that isn't true. What time you go into the marker doesn't primarily matter, but more so when you skip the cutscene. @AceMagic this just means you're not timing it correctly. If you have a video feel free to post it so I can see what you're doing incorrectly

I mean that is more common sense than anything, if you do missions that are part of a segment before the run starts then that's just being an idiot

Due to an increase of submissions from people doing Las Venturas segments as part of an entire any% run, we've decided to change the timing start of this category to Stowaway start rather than loading a save. All runs currently on the lb will be updated to the new timing.

We are aware that some runners do not start LV from Stowaway due to different routes. However there are a lot more people who submit as part of any% compared to runners that do a different route. This is the best option we could think of as of now to cater for the majority.

We won't update anything immediately in case anyone has any better suggestions or feedback about the change. If you do have a better solution feel free to let us know
