there are some runs like that, i.e the multiple mario game categories and some people run complete pokedexes in red and blue, so yes it could happen, but would mostly likely be extension categories

@teddyras that is very disrespectful to others. he doesn't need to clarify but it is still giving admins and others more reason for him to be modded. talking with another user is not a "waste of time" and no, he is not obligated to, but maybe he wanted to?

I would like to point out that the same is happening with the Halo games, they have a separate site and this is shy I have not decided to run any of the halo game yet.

I would like to request moderation of the game "Cubot" the mod was inactive for over a week then came on at least 3 times in the past 2 days but has not verified my runs. All my attempts to contact him have been left hanging.

@teddyras have you tried contacting that person about this yet though? that should always be step one. and even though he hasn't submit a run in a year, he has only been offline for 17 days (which is still kind of long)

@Tron_Javolta I agree with jetpac, I brought it up to them awhile ago and they did nothing, the site they run on is not accurate in item drop times, spawn rates, or ship speed when completing a level. plus the changes they made to the page (i.e. color of the forums) is straining on the eyes, but they don't seem to want to change how the game is modded.

I have already brought up about how the console runs different because of the site they use, however nothing was done so I did not run the game for that exact reason. The console version should be taken as the correct version as it was actually made by the people who made the original game, not some random website that happens to run a version of it.

tips

1. dont feel bad if you aren't good at a game right away, learning a game is part of the fun of speedrunning.
2. Try to find games that you like to play and won't feel bored of after a short amount of time.
3. I recommend downloading Livesplit, best timer out there for speedrunning
4. last but not least, go fast and have fun :)

well, there's about 40 pages of 0 run games on the site, so maybe I can lower that number a bit
