Are the start and stop conditions still “touch first ingredient” and “oven closed after last batch extracted”?

Could vegetable, canola, coconut, olive, sesame, or corn oil be used instead of butter in the IRL Cookie Baking category? This could save time since none of these ingredients need to be melted and are considered valid substitutes for butter in cookie recipes.
