I will now start to keep track of the top three times and their videos for every single runs , so that the top three runs for each run will stay.
The axes changing will cause the other times to be removed.
Sorry for any inconvenience that this might cause, but this would ultimately be for the better due to the easier addition of miscallaneous categories.
I should totally make it a rule that admitting to cheating is gonna get you banned at some point, no matter if you cheated or not (if you have world records). I could totally see people screwing with us and future mods by doing that.

There doesn't need to be a separate category. You can filter runs based on whether they used an emulator or a different device.
How about this. I'll talk to Tac about starting a poll whether or not to sacrifice all the runs in exchange for a better quality experience with new categories.
Pros: Misc Categories are able to be added way easier and they'll be made much less confusing, and we won't have to have two leaderboards (¤Cough¤ Tac).
Misc Categories might stop this game from dying a little bit more due to how optimized the runs are.
Cons: Having to add every single world record again.
Note: While I'll try to keep the world records at least similar to what we have now if the results turn out that we have to change it, it's not a guarantee.
EDIT: The poll thing might not be a thing, and I might just have to do it as an executive decision (with Tac's approval). This is mostly due to the fact that in the olden days of a few months ago, we saw that polls can potentially be hugely affected by a single person if he/she has enough influence, and not in a fair way.
It's actually not that hard. At least if it's a smartphone.
Also, I was thinking of that, and if the chance comes that we find a DE PE player that we trust, we may add them as a mod, since he/she may have experience we don't.
That's not a very good mindset xD We still have to take good care of which runs to accept.

While it is debatable whether not to add Pocket Edition maps as part of the main DE site, especially since it has always been based on Minecraft Java (Computer) Edition Dragon Escape, Mineplex PE Dragon Escape is still Dragon Escape.
This means that the maps will be added accordingly. Our current playerbase and staff don't have the same access to Pocket Edition DE, so we may not be able to know much of everything in this matter, especially since it's never been a matter of concern for so long.
The three maps we know right now are Tribal Run, Alpine Ravine, and Jungle Valley.
All the base kits are available. which means that there shouldn't be much change with how the kits are listed in the runs.

if anything, banning thunder myself doesn't sound so bad, except that his runs arent relevant to the runs on the leaderboard.
if he comes back and continually cheats at runs that are relevant to the WRs, or are WRs, then there will be consequences. i doubt he's coming back, and i doubt that him cheating in some obscure run that probably didn't even matter has changed the course of history.
if you're gonna call us biased on our first day, just a reminder that you were on the same team that banned thunder himself without public evidence, and the only action i remember that took place from this was that one of the mods kept trying to convince people that the 'proof' was there.

this post implies that thunderplayz was just banned because there was a POSSIBILITY of evidence.
This team is going to work in a more professional manner than that.
Since I wont be going for runs anytime soon, I won't be using a timer to time runs. Ill use the method DaFatMan uses
nah, I'd just ban people if they're runs (and their person) are relevant enough, and if that's the only choice I have to make that person stop what they're doing. I'll otherwise try to do things in a civilized manner. cheers
english translation: if it turns out someone cheated 2 years ago, im not banning them. if it turns out they cheated but it was easily solved, for example, a modified timer (as mods need to retime runs anyway), then I might impose a point system, where a certain amount of offenses would give them a penalty.

P.S. This idea seems great, but it wouldn't work unless you force the player to look down. Also, there isn't a specific to-go spot for the timer to start, unlike the beacon (the beam), unless you start the first frame your mouse hits the edge of the block.

-the timer wasn't some random timer, which suggests that the cheating was intended -butwhymrman was banned by crafter from a server because he, and I quote, "exposed" him.
because of these things, i myself say that he most likely had a clear intention of cheating in that run.

any% in its current state is only possible if you do at least 1 checkpoint. that means any% and 1 checkpoint will be the exact same category O.o
i think you mean 1 checkpoint (any%) and all checkpoints.
yes, i know some levels dont have checkpoints
um, you can do any% if you do at least 1 checkpoint. (i think, i mean i was doing that all the time a few days ago, unless they did a recent update just a couple days ago)
