His timing is when he moves in. It is more of a "platonic marriage" if you will. But yeah, the category is marriage...along with roommate.
What do you mean? One person does Krobus and the other runners marry someone else.
Rewatching your run made me think of how devastated I was that you came and blew my time out of the water just a month after my 14:17 pb. Definitely fueled me into grinding even harder to beat your new pb/wr. XD
If I remember right, he had a sub 10 with the predictor. This run (should) have been without it.
The Stardew Valley one has been broken for years now....it really is a pain.
It was a thought for the run that was previously brought up and there wasn't much in terms of negativity. Realistically the run is to get lucky and get an emerald to gift I believe in the mines.
While not the most interesting, it is far less rng dependent than simply running to the cart. Can be debated though. Boiler room has become simple omni geode luck for fire quartz.
The idea behind banning the cart was that the cart deters gameplay and "fun". Realistically you could do random CC bundles and still get a keg relatively easily too (while still having a big rng element).
3 Living Hats now, but yeah, it's surprisingly easy to miss it when you're focused/on autopilot XD
More like 1 in a hundred thousand :P But thanks :P Just a little lucky
@stitchyourheart - The rules aren't too confusing and we've since made some changes, but overall it's fairly straightforward. Just record everything XD
@Legoking - The run itself actually wasn't bad. I did 2 runs back to back (1/2 day rest between lol)
Haboo has done faster runs than this and he's done many more than me. He's a madman XD
As for most ideas, you can certainly do runs yourself and keep track of the times. If the idea gets a lot of attention and runs it could be added later.
An interesting run idea though.
There is a chance of being added but it lost out in recent votings for popularity. There isnt likely to be another vote for a while.
You can always keep track of your times though and try to better the times.
There was a vote for just catching every fish but it wasnt popular enough :/ can still do it and keep track of your times though :)
Consoles are generally slower and harder to use than pc, so nearly everyone does pc. A few people have done switch I believe though.
For the timer, it depends on how you're capturing the recording. If you're recording on a pc with a capture card, then having a timer is relatively easy to do. If you're playing on a tv/handheld mode using a phone to record the screen, don't worry about the timer.
Generally for timers, if you're able to do it you should. So anyone recording on a pc should have a timer (i think ps4/5 has an option to do it too).
1 - people will generally always play on the fastest version of a game. They may start with a less ideal method but for most people, switch if they want to "compete" 2 - extensions was planned to be better laid out and give reasonable variables/categories that can't really be done on the main leaderboard 3 - while pc does have the advantage of ac there are few runs that would really make that big of a difference having vanilla.
There are 11 categories that could have vanilla 7/11 categories have nearly zero runners and are very unlikely to have any amount of "competition" or running popularity to warrant a "vanilla". - Perfection, seeded perfection, 4 candles, seeded 4 candles, junimo 120, skull caverns, secret statues
4/11 AC would make a difference and are ran by a few people, but the number of "competitive" runners not using AC is very low. So the very small time difference and same route, there's very little need to "need" another category.
There is no plan to add a vanilla category and unlikely to be added unless there is huge demand or if additional things are added to differentiate vanilla and glitchless.
AC of course is faster, but we don't want additional categories that aren't run. The main leaderboard has that issue and it'd be hard to change at this point.
Quick fyi, better to message in the Discord channel. People don't generally check the forums too much :) And yes, there are other glitches and stuff available, though largely on older game versions (1.2)
Correct. PC has a limit for the items. It shows in the shop how many are available. Once you buy all of an item it's finished.
Interesting mechanic. I'd say "regular" gameplay would include buying as much as you'd want. It doesn't list any limit like pc. I'll run it past the other mods but I don't see anything wrong with it.
