I can't seem to find a blastoise route guide for pokemon blue. Is there one out there that anyone can show me. I tried the nidoran route, and i dont like it as much. Can someone show me a guide for the Blastoise route? I would really appreciate it.

I have a catagory idea for 70 star and 120 star. glitchless would imply that tricks are still allowed. an example is sky jump in BOB would be allowed but bob omb clip would not be allowed. Flyguyless would be, but pillarless would not be. in 120, lblj would not be allowed, nor would the JRB clip for jet stream to skip metal cap. taking advantage of the fact that hmc does not have a celling is allowed. in JRB, the cannonless that Cheese uses is allowed as it is not a glitch, however framewalk would not be allowed. in 120 because you need the metal cap for JRB, it would require a small route change, just do CCM where JRB would normally be done, and after you get the vanish cap, do JRB instead. kicking up slopes is allowed, and triple jumping up slopes is also allowed. tricks are allowed, but glitches are not.

This could be big, this could be nothing but I think i found something. In 4-2 there is a walljump at the beginning of the level that moves mario's x position to 131. The minimum for the wrong warp to work is 132. If there is sub pixel manipulation to move him forward 1 more pixel it could save a framerule over lightning 4 2. I will have a video on the jump within the next 2 weeks.

Why is there no blind option for winter?

I thought of a catagor called any% all gyms, where it allows you to abuse trainer fly and missingno, and other glitches, but you have to go and beat all 8 gyms, the elite 4 and the end rival fight. I have already started planning a route starting with charmander, so you can get a lev. 100 gengar before brock, and i started using an RNG manip to get an encounter infront of the last bug catcher in viridian. i think it would be a good catagory, because the current any% catagorys either, dont even make it to the first gym before ending, or dont use glitches hardly at all.

I have an idea for a new category, getting every star available, counting all 4 files. Essentially 120 star in file a b c and d in 1 segment. This could also work with doing this for 0 1 16 and 70 star as well.

on Santa% do I have to start at level 1, or if i have unlocked everything can i start on different levels? if not then mabey a rule change allowing this or a subcatagory called “no order”, and allow a choice of levels ,and another sub catagory called “Ordered” starting for level 1.

so on the pellson rom, i have it working fine, but for the timer on each level, is strange, like when i do the restart level buttons the timer does not restart, so my pb for 4-2 is 6 min, but whenever i use a savestate at the verey beginning it wonnt show me my time because saves were used, anyone know how to fix this?

I think there should be an RTA catagory for each level. because some flips in levels only save in game time, but not rta time

I want to know why you can only use cmg and poki for runs, friv has less lag, and feels faster, plus, i just like the site better. I think friv should be available. any thoughts??

I just had an amazing category extensions idea, 3 star! Get the red coin stars in the 3 bowser stages, using lblj, sblj, and regular bljs. It could work, although i cant show an example run, because i cant seem to get sblj. I think this could be a great category.

I found a new strat in level 10 to get a time of 22 seconds more consistantly, and I got lucky and got a 21.970 from it as well (still waiting to be verified). Its called "double keying" and you use the arrow keys and the wasd keys for direction. It helps with slight frame perfect inputs, and gives you a sort of boost. not a big boost but a small one. if you use them properly then you can get a decent time. before this strat my PB second place time was 22.340, then using this strat I bumped it up to 22.310, then 22.240, and then 21.970 (all of those except the 22.340 are waiting to be verified). If I can, I will try to get an input display video, but it is pretty easy. You wont have to do the boost flip after the ice section that wr holder Sandstorm187 used, because it is very hard and i found using this strat, a faster way to do the flip with the rocket before the pool at the end. If this is confusing I will try to get a video made.

I thought lava boost was faster than the other volcano star, but kanno did no lava boost and that confused me

Ive got an idea for a new catagory, its an all cap switch run. My thoughts are to ban LBLJ, and collect 8 stars in the lobby, then go to basement and go to the metal cap stage (which i think i found a new blj to get there faster) get the reds star there, and unlock the metal cap (you can use text skips for all of the caps) then go to vanish cap and get the reds star, and unlock the cap, by then you should have 10 stars so go to the wing cap stage and grab the reds star, then unlock the cap. timing begins on file select, and ends when you touch the wing cap star. no intro skips or game sharks allowed, you can use any tricks to get any of the stars. text skips for all 3 caps are allowed, any form of skipping the 8 star door is banned
