I think it'd be nice to see a "New" flag added to recent runs on a leaderboard, maybe with a slight glow or something that disappears after 1-2 weeks. Perhaps even with something differentiating between new runs/runners to a category and improved runs, though I'm not exactly sure on the best way to display that.

Agree with everything everyone has said. @Gaël I feel like FFX should still say FFX instead of FF10, otherwise I completely agree. It's an odd outlier for sure but it's rare to see someone use FF10 instead of FFX

Really hated the 2 streams being so close to each other. It worked great from a viewing and probably tech perspective, but it was just awful when actually doing a run. Being mid sentence and having the other stream interrupt you with cheering and clapping is horrible. Granted the stream probably didn't hear most of the clapping but it's still difficult to talk over. Plus I could hardly even hear the others on the couch besides the person next to me because there's so much noise in the room.

Also seems kinda silly not to have spare mics on standby. Only 3 mics for the main stream was pretty bad for a 4-player co-op run. I think the 2nd stream only had 2 mics? Not exactly sure but more mics seemed necessary there too.

Also probably could have done with an extra HDTV or two for practice but that's quite minor.

Not sure how often the schedule is being updated but I still need at least 10 minutes extra on my original estimate for Final Fantasy V, the 4:20 assumed I was playing in Japanese, English text adds a lot.

Final Fantasy V incentives:

Name for Butz (5 character limit)

Continuous bid-war for which character to run around as (Bartz / Lenna / Faris / [Galuf/Krile]) (Krile replaces Galuf about 2/3rds into the game). Can change lead character at any point. This incentive will add around 5 minutes or so however because some of my menus will be slower, changing the characters around alters all of the menus, and confuses me in battles.

As discussed on skype I'm gonna need an extra 10 minutes or so if you want me to play in English on FF5

I'm bringing my US Snes (that can play J games). My run's fairly early on in the marathon, after that anyone can use it to practice on or whatever (although soft reset doesn't work on it)

Is it possible for those that have to stay in mass housing because of the fully booked hotel to use the spare mattresses from last year? Don't particularly want to buy one for 2 days, nor do I want to sleep on the floor

2:31:57 in FFCC All dungeons (5 minutes from the record on my 2nd run of this category). Made some pretty dumb mistakes so I'll probably improve this again before ESA

10:28:54 in FFX, finally earned sub 10:30:00

4:02:53 in FF5, still aiming for sub 4.

You can go ahead and remove FF Type-0 HD from the games list, I'm really not putting in the effort to make it work for the marathon and I'm lacking motivation for it. The game stills needs a lot of work and definitely won't be ready.

As for my other games, I recently got a new FFX PB of 10:28:54 which is my main focus right now. No real progress on my other games but I'll probably work on crystal chronicles soon.

Just as a heads up the hotel is getting very full, so if anybody is delaying like I was you should probably hurry up and book a room

I agree with Kenny but for different reasons, I just don't really think a room or player camera should ever be in the centre of the layout.

Also the 4:3 single doesn't really support much room for names, which is an issue for 4 player co-op.
