Would anybody be interested in leaderboards for the 15 individual missions?

I think it might be fun and add some variety.

As it stands now, unless I'm going for lightsaber, force or heart records, I'm only ever gonna run Nibiru.

I notice you tend to open the cat at the desk.

If you open it by the fireplace you can immediately use it. I believe this is faster.

If you open it at the desk you have to use clicks to put it back in the inventory, and then clicks to pick it back up again once you move to the fireplace.

If you move the mouse ever so slightly to the side before you click (I go right), this won't happen.

Weird but, it works.

I think method 2 is the fairest for lack of a better term. Although ch 7 solo would still need to be last input I think.

Like Shoxx said, it's very hard to track 100% as a category. But there are things you could do like, AllDeaths% for instance.

The best categories are simple to define and allow runners the freedom to develop their own route. By simple I mean give the runner a clear goal (Feed the Dog, Complete a Chapter, Get an Item).

If your goal is view every cutscene, that is doable but a pain to verify. You would need to provide a list of all the cutscenes and where\when they play, even then it's hard to verify because so many of them can be skipped on almost frame 0 of the movie.

What I would suggest is do the run yourself. When I suggest categories, I usually record myself doing it, and explain it while I play. I detail what is required for the category, why and how to achieve\verify it. This gives the mods a much clearer idea of what you are putting forward.

Having said that, It's great to see a new runner interested in the game. Running Phantasmagoria is a lot of fun, and I can't wait to see anything you submit.

Oh this is interesting, I've just got a script that deleted the save on startup for those categories that require a fresh save.

So many runs have died to mis-clicking this little snowman ornament....

It's the real monster of this game, not Don.

With the proposed new categories, are we thinking 'completing just the 1 selected chapter', or 'completing the game starting from new game\chapter select'?
