I quit streaming and with it w101, but I'm coming back to do other speedruns, probably including wizard101.

Some progress: It appears to be not that bad. Theres a scripting extension to livesplit that lets you script an autosplitter. I don't know about splitting, but I think I can make it pause anytime the game has to load. I've found like 8ish or so possible memory addresses that could be used. The only problem is that I don't know if they'll change basically every time the game updates

I've never made one, but I might try it. I agree the load times are awful and it makes it harder to stream speedruns of it. I'll research it

Didn't want to make another thread, but I had a couple of thoughts on changes to the wording of the rules.

I wrote the mount bit the way I did because I had (and really still have) no idea how wlol actually works, but I don't want it to read like that exactly, especially if it's expanded to other categories. I think mounts are fine, I just want to make it as clear as possible:

No crown items, no items form another character, no nothing that you couldn't get if you started the game over with a new account right now. The only items you should be allowed to have are those acquired in game on that character. The only thing that should be paid for are areas that are required for speedrunning. (any items from gift cards or items that come from membership if that happens should be banned)

If you have any ideas on how to word it (or want to just change it real quick) that's perfectly fine and good!

The unicorn way rules were off as they were written by SoapBar before we had a more consistent rule scheme. I've updated the rules and will approve your run with an updated time that fits the rules (just adding a few seconds)

For future reference (in case you add more Individual Levels) timing should start the moment you receive the first quest of whatever IL you're running, and should end the moment you receive the rewards for the last quest. For anything that starts from the beginning of the game, timing starts the moment you hit play.
