I planned to speedrun this game, but are there any tips or guides per mission or which character to use?

Im pretty sure the quickest way to clear freemode is with Shinkai. Havent tried any other characters but i suppose Golem could work just as well, maybe a little bit slower but im not sure. Anyways I would go with Shinkai.
