God Comparisons

Hi guys! So I'm going to go over the advantages of certain gods in Conquest.

1. Hunters
Hunters are the best gods for this mode. They have access to The Crusher - an item which speeds up tower and phoenix attacks. They have access to some of the best attack speed abilities (such as Apollo's passive and Art's 2) and can easily take down towers and enemies faster than any other god type (besides a select few cases with mages). As of right now, all hunters are viable. Preference, however, goes to the ones who have high damage or high attack speed. 2. Mages
Mages are the second most useful god type in this mode. However, only the auto attack mages and Nu Wa are viable. Thus gods like Ah Puch and He Bo are absolutely useless. Mages that are useful and why:
	a. Chronos - his 2 gives him amazing tower clear and his 3 can get enemies away when you are trying to survive with low health as you await your ult.
	b. Sol - She is the only god in the game that can down a Tier 1 in under three minutes. Her problem comes late game as she has trouble clearing the Titan and enemies.
	c. Freya - VERY risky. She has good tower clear and burst, but a useless 1 and very frail.
	d. Poseidon - Risky, relies heavily on Polynomicon.
	e. Ao Kuang - See my section on Assassins, except he doesn't have access to The Crusher.

All other mages are considered rather useless as they can't take down towers fast enough to get a sub-15 minute time.

3. Assassins
Mediocre. Assassins, while they have great attack speed, accessibility to The Crusher (the most important item in this mode), and damage, they have very mediocre abilities for taking down towers and from my tests they have consistently lagged behind mages and hunters. A huge part of this speed run is not dying. If you use an assassin, you can't stay away from the middle of a fight and are far more likely to die. It's possible to do an assassin speed run, but it is very risky and more research needs to be done.

4. Warriors & Guardians
DO NOT USE. They are too weak to deal out damage. Guardians cannot access The Crusher and have terrible abilities as a whole for taking down towers. Warriors are just basically weaker assassins when doing a speed run.

Lanes

When choosing a lane to push in Conquest Practice, you have three choices. As you will most likely be running as a Hunter or a Mage, you will have one of the two following layouts:

From the start there is an obvious thing NOT to do, and that is go to the duo lane. Ymir will freeze you and prevent you from clearing wave and taking tower constantly. Just do NOT go left lane the entire game. It isn't worth it. Plus, Sobek can solo the lane better than any of the other lanes can (even Anubis will lose his lane to Ra before Sobek will to Ymir and Neith). It is thus a choice between going mid or solo. As a hunter, you can triple push the solo lane and get both towers down no matter the hunter in under 8 minutes very safely. However, going to the right risks Hercules stealing First Blood and you losing 300 gold which is a free Teleport. If you go mid, Anubis will very rarely steal first blood. If you go mid, you can clear waves without using any mana as Anubis will use his abilities to easily clear, yet you won't get as many kills for gold farm. If you go mid, you are very likely to be ganked by Ymir. I know it's a CPU - but you do NOT want to be frozen or else you lose time and have a far higher risk of dying. If you go right lane you likely won't see Ymir until very late. Either way, after taking Phoenix on either side you will have to take the lane you don't initially push in order to get the Titan to lose 3000 health.

If you choose to play as a mage, you will lose the mid lane by around 14-16 minutes if you go right. So you'd have to take the Phoenix before then in order to push back mid and take the mid Phoenix.
