I'm curious, has anyone tried this before? I was messing around with small mario and realized this would save time if mario didn't die to the plant. So, this is the end result of that same experiment with fire mario. enjoy

clip starts at 28 seconds in

Gosh that was so hard lol but it will be good way in All-Stars Any%. Most people except Kosmic usually use powerups to beat the game :)

I've never heard of this before. Neither to my knowledge of anyone knowing about this clip. But if it saves an in-game second it must save a LITTLE amount of time. But a LITTLE amount of time is always important in SMB1 speedrunning!

cool. should save a frame rule im pretty sure. still need to time it

Very goofy indeed.

Using small Mario to clip the first pipe I was able to get a 376.

We need to get people hyped up enough to play all stars, then people will do this OP strat since there will be more competition and as a result a more tight WR PogChamp

Very hard trick. (Although I accidentally do it last time)

@KingOf_JonnyBoy how do you clip into the pipe as small mario without dying to the piranha before exiting the pipe? that was what I tried initially but resorted to using fire to avoid dying to the plant
