Just curious, does anyone know exactly why it works on PAL and not NTSC? My theory/guess would be that Mario can jump lower on PAL, but I'm not exactly sure that this is the reason.
I can't tell you exactly why but It has something to do with being able to clip into deeper into the block. And 50 fps is the reason you can clip deeper into the block. So full fpg is possible because of lower fps.
I think it's mostly that Mario moves more pixels per frame in PAL to make up for the lower framerate.
