since slodder's run was done on 59hz i was wondering if his run was faster because of it. to my surprise, 59hz didn't seem any faster, at least from my testing. i couldn't get my 59hz runs to align with his so i'm not sure how his cycles are faster, but it could just be due to a bit of randomness as i've noticed the cycles aren't 100% consistent all the time, on both 60hz and 59hz

what i did learn, though, is it looks like beating the level and replaying it makes the cycles faster, or at least less random. map enter is also faster but it seemed too precise actually, but it's probably still doable. either way that's what i did for this, and it was done on 60hz. thanks for reading my novel
