Issues with Emulator SM64

I believe the timer starts after starting up the save file, I think, so why don’t you wait two seconds before starting the timer and the game recording?

What are you talking about? The game itself loads and I can hear it start up after I hit reset, which is why I start the timer right after I hit reset. There's no need to wait 2 seconds. It's just the game isn't visually there for the first 2 seconds.

Sorry, my English is bad (despite the fact that I’m American) and I don’t really know the SM64 timers. What I was trying to say is that does your game just not show the first two seconds of startup or does it not show the first two seconds after starting a new file?

Massachusetts, USA

Oh, sorry. Yeah first two seconds of startup/Livesplit timer

Well, shouldn’t the timer start upon file creation though?

Massachusetts, USA

No, I always thought it started when you first start the game up.

Just checked, it does say that the timer begins upon startup. Is it something about the emulator, or your recorder? I use OBS, but I haven’t tried recording my emulator yet.

Not sure. I had a setting on that said pause when not in use, which could affect it I suppose. I do use obs to record.

Shut up about these stupid forums! It’s not like it’s a government poll!

What poll are they talking about lmao
