what are the start and stop time rules for the real time for this game?

Real time start and stop would be once you have control of the bike and stop time would be once you do not have control (e.g. as soon as you pass the goal line). I've tried to keep everything in-game time to make it slightly easier, but if you're timing out of game, those would be the rules.
