How to properly submit a run to the leaderboard
Uppdaterad NeoNinjaKat
av Submitting a run may sound easy but you'd be surprised at how few runners get their first submission right. This is nothing to be ashamed of as the majority are due to things that aren't immediately obvious to a new runner, so this guide is to help you submit your first (or next) run.
- First, read the rules and make sure to follow them in the run.
- Next, use a recording software like OBS to record your run (be sure to record at least from the 15 second head start until game over, your run usually won't be accepted otherwise).
- Watch through the run to make sure there's nothing that you didn't catch that invalidates the run.
- Figure out the player/capture count. In survivor runs this is the number of people that escape and in beast runs it's the number of people that fully freeze.
- Figure out the final time on the ingame timer.
- In a survivor run if the round ends upon the last person escaping it's the final time at game over, if not it's the time the last person escaped at.
- In a beast run it's the final time at game over if the game ends on the last survivor getting captured, if the game ends in a survivor leaving it's the time at which the last person was captured.
- Calculate your time, time is calculated using the in game timer so the following formula can be used (15:00 - final ingame time = run time).
I hope this helps!
