As the title means, I wonder how we can build a ranking with JPN players AND others...

We definitly know how we can save time in JPN version (for example with the snake key).

So how to deal with it ?

I was about to get a top 3 run in NG any% category, but when I saw this japanese version with cut scenes...

It's just my opinion after all, but I feel sad about verifying both versions in the same ranking.

As a conclusion, I guess that it wont change as you said, then I unfortunately stop speedruning this game. To bad.

monkaS don't worry I'm taking back this WR without cero D on NG Easy, so it's still possible to get it, but once the time will be too low, you unfortunately will not be able to hope for a WR without cero D :/ Gotta buy the game a second time FeelsBadMan

There was a lot of discussion on this last year, before I was even a mod for the game actually, and ultimately it was decided on that the Japanese Cero D version of the game was to be included in the same boards/categories as the other versions. At the time, PC was less certain because we didn't have a way to get it outside of Japan, but with a method being found at the start of the year, it was decided that it would fall in line with how it was handled on Console more than a year ago now. We started seeing PC Cero D submissions in January, just after the method of getting the version was found, though it was primarily in DLC categories.

I do understand that it can be annoying for a specific version to be necessary for a run, and eventually I am certain that it will be necessary for top times on PC. Though, at the time I'm writing this, there is no main game category that is so optimized that you must have Cero D to have WR on PC.

So I Know that The main game Biohazard 7 has times saves due to Cero D but does any of the dlc have any times saves due to Cero D and if so what dlc has time saves

And by using this method can you change other resident Evil games to Biohazard games (Example) Resident Evil 2 > Biohazard 2 on PC/PS4/Xbox.

And if that's all the time saves Cero d provides (main game/not a hero) would it mess with the game if I had Cero d for re7 main game and not a hero and the normal English/American version for the rest of the dlc such as (End of Zoe/Banned Footage Vol 1/Banned Footage Vol 2)

And does have Cero d save time for any dlc due to language time saves and not just censored time saves (Example) Not a hero saving more time not just because of censorship but because of language time saves

in a few other DLCs I believe you actually lose time if you have Cero D

I don't have the specific amounts of time with me for the DLC (except Not a Hero because I just remember it), I'd need to find where I wrote all of those down some time ago, but here's what all the known time differences are from the Cero D version of the game.

Main Game: ~1.5 seconds saved from a change in the starting position of Jack 1. 10 seconds saved from a censored animation after Jack 2's body explodes. ~13 seconds saved from the Snake Key animation change due to censorship. Not A Hero: ~8 seconds saved from a censored animation change End of Zoe: Loses time on the Sea-Beast Jack fight due to a censored animation 21: Saves a slight bit of time due to the censored animation where the fingers are bent instead of cut off. Loses a decent bit of time to an animation change due to censorship in the final phase where the saw is replaced with a bomb.

Daughters, Ethan Must Die, Bedroom, and Jack's 55th Birthday are all the same across versions as far as anyone knows. The only thing we knew for certain had a difference based on language was in the main game and most of the known time save has been skipped because of Alan/Vomit Skip and DD Skip on the ship now.

So since end of zoe loses time should I delete it and re download it through normal ratings and do you know if a certain language saves time and if so what saves the most time
