This is why insular communities like this one get clowned so hard the second they're brought to the attention of the public. You spend so little time welcoming fresh faces and ideas the second anything a little challenging comes along you all start making passive aggressive threads like this and start talking about "the way it's always been" as if you somehow own RE:4 in its totality or that anybody outside your backwater community cares.
Friendly reminder that the only ones making categories free are you guys. Your rules are hilariously arbitrary. So much so that they come off as vindictive and crafted specifically to exclude certain runners and new tech.
The only things that are free are the new categories you arbitrarily create to protect your existing "1st places"...

Anybody who isn't in your self-absorbed closed tribe of sycophants can see this behavior for what it is.This constant nepotism and hostility towards outsiders is why there's wide cross-community support against you, why the site admin stepped in and unmodded all of you, why control of the leaderboard has been ripped from your grasp and there's nothing you can do about it. @miakx Just because I do one shitty run of a game doesn't automatically make my opinion more valuable. Leaderboards should listen to whoever is the most correct, regardless of if it's some runners, some viewers, a school of fish or the ghost of a dead cat.
There's a reason there were like 6 other communities mentioned through all the discussions. Because everyone has seen what's been going on, and it's not like you guys haven't been quoted verbatum all over Twitter and Speedrun.com
