This game is kinda old, so you can only play in fullscreen, or windowed through external software (which can sometimes be a bit janky).

I recommend renaming or deleting the intro movie files in D:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Project Eden\Movies\

Widescreen doesn't have any issues I've encountered yet, resolution is personal preference.
