I just watched the chamber “Portal Gun” in Can’t Even’s run and Burger40’s run and realized something:
- They both reached the dialogue skip at 23 seconds into the chamber
- In Can’t Even’s run, viewer “PGZRunz” subscribed at the right moment that he couldn’t hear the dialogue, making him wait an additional 10 seconds before he could complete the chamber
- This put Burger40 10 seconds ahead
- Burger40 was 2 seconds ahead in the WR
Conclusion: It is entirely possible that Twitch viewer “PGZRunz” subscribing right there allowed Burger40 to get the WR
Just did some more math. I don’t exactly remember how far behind Burger40 got in Chapter 6/7, but no matter what his low point was, 7 seconds behind or 100, he would be 8 seconds behind Can’t Even if he didn’t get an extra ten from that chamber
