So place a brown triangle before the finish line so when the lap is about to end run into the brown triangle and it glides you to the finish line
Driving into the poop pile (the brown triangle) immediately forces you to an extremely slow speed... it would be faster to just drive through the finish line normally, unless I'm misunderstanding what you're proposing.
