Jungle Confrontation is the last part of the game. It is also a bit of a maze but thankfully very few actual screens that force the player to choose one of 2 paths.

For newer runners, the most important part of Jungle Confrontation is the first 2 screens. Never take the same path twice at the start. What I mean by this is say you take the left path first...Don't take the left path again on the next screen. You will merely loop around back to where you started.

This also applies to the right path too. The reason for avoiding going right-right at the start is different though. In this case, you'll wind up going down the longest route to the boss room.

Here's a map I created to kind of show what I'm talking about here.

As you can see 3 of the 4 possible places you can go at the start will at least lead you to the end eventually and one of them leads you down the optimal path. Admittedly, this is a very tough map to understand as I used the red pointer of the in-game compass to create it.

So to make this whole thing easier to understand, here's the paths to take for the optimal route:
