Hello there, I'm new to this community and I was wondering if you think its too late to try to run this game? Any thoughts?

When is it too late to speedrun anything??? I mean the WR is very good at this point but why be put off running a game because you can't 'get WR'. (I assume this is what you meant by your comment)

Also the pokemon community still has loads of great active runners unlike other games, so it's definitely not "too late" to be a part of this community. 'most' people speedrun because they find it fun, that's why I ran Red because I loved the game as a kid. If you speedrun only with the intention of getting WR you will not enjoy it as much.
