In a lot of alleys glitch videos( i dont know if its glitchless), I see people flicking on the shelf inside the green room and orange room. Does it help you in any way, and if it does how does it help?

They mean the Jump you can do, I think you can definitely do that

that is speed glitch and it can be done on any piggy map where there is a climbable surface, but those are the best places to do it on alleys (it is not allowed in glitchless, only glitch% which is in category extensions)
