I just got into speedrunning Phasmophobia but the rules aren't completely clear to me. In the rules for any% is stated: "The person recording is required to put down all the evidence you gather including the ghost type into your journal. On top of this, all evidence is required to be seen on the recording(s)." This means that you have to have every evidence on video right? I am asking this because I just looked at the world record for highschool any% solo. In that run the ghost was a Revenant but the creator didn't even check EMF. He just guessed it was EMF.

I'm not fully sure but I just had something like this too with one of my duo runs, but yes you do indeed need to see the evidence on recording, but the thing about the Highshool run is if the EMF is audible from his POV? If so some people are skilled enough to identify the sound of EMF 5 without looking at it. Hope this somewhat helps! :D

Oh, I just remembered they do that sort of thing on the Tutorial level too, maybe the EMF has some trick to it that the mods allow due to a certain rule? Because on Tutorial they never even touch the EMF... Hmm
