Second, you said in the notes that I hit the final split early. I thought it was on the final Stage Clear screen since that's when you lose control of the character. Is it on the Credits then?

I definitely want to make sure I do it right, I'll be trying to improve on my record (not falling off the roof would help) some time this week.

When u are able to skip to credits is when time is at end. This only applies to story mode runs. This will keep consistency and a visual reference that works from the start to the end if the runs.

I went ahead and deleted my old run. I feel way better about this one.

Keeping progression on record feels nice tho. I have some pretty bad runs to start as well but they get better over time with more work into them. Great job on the most recent run tho @Galen_Firestone

My gut tells me I can push it down to 1:09 maybe. Skip the dialogue on the beach, get some better RNG for the final fight, and don't fall during Castle Skip. I might also tackle Violent, though let's be honest, who likes harder difficulties on speedruns?
