Because there is no per run IGT and no easy way to deal with your saves.

That's far too tedious, and they'll be adding per run IGT anyways.I mean if you haven't even ran the game why does it matter jk

This isn't the Sonic 2 community, and yes it is far more tedious than doing RTA (the most important timing method that exists anyways).

The developers A run of the game Mr. Shifty IGT for each run from Press of Start to finishing the last level.

Also ILs are completely different from RTA runs...

After my WR, we saw that RTA is not a good way to see the time because of lag and stuff. Even after my next run that was 1 second slower realtime, it is 40 seconds faster IGT. Sadly it makes timing the game pretty bad right now. So we kinda need the update.

Also going to wait until the update until any work on an autosplitter
