Why isn't the New3DS a platform for the game?

probably because the game only came out for regular 3ds even though you can play it on new3ds

from what i heard, the new3ds doesnt make the loading times and stuff faster or run better in a major way for 3ds games, but it does for normal ds games so probably not too much of a difference maybe? idk
