Finally found a method of triggering the timer and escaping. It's still slower than doing it normal but it is an actual exploit run this time. It is very close and hard to tell if flying to the start room to press the tp button to end of tunnel 1 is faster or not.

Also, sometimes you end up fly through the wall as seen here (IDK why):
