i heard on hary0tt's stream that they wont reject any runs with gamma 5.0. is this true?

According to the rules, it is banned.

In the discord it was declared banned. You can however use monitor brightening software if its hard to see and you can use OBS filters for brightness on your video

doodlefruit they updated it to "Hey everyone, I just want to announce that we will not be rejecting any runs that use Gamma 5 until we figure out how we are adjusting the rules based on community feedback. It is still discouraged, but we will not reject your run for it.

It would be appreciated if you can include a note saying what your gamma is in the submission comment (particularly if it’s above 1.0), as we may use that information at some point. This isn’t required or anything, though."

you can do altering in option.txt, but the ONLY thing you can modify is gamma. The maximum gamma allowable according to rules is 5. you can check out my video to know about how to change the gamma
