I had to eat halfway through a run but kept recording through it anyway. I paused for maybe half an hour and then completed the run, without turning off the recording at any point. Would I be able to deduct the paused time from my run if I keep it in the video, or is it dead?

Yes you can it will be just like a loading screen deducted from your time

I don't know why it wouldn't be accepted. Your rta would take a big hit, but igt is the important thing and that would not be affected. Yes it would be annoying but it's fine

Leaderboards are ranked by igt not rta. So this shouldn't be a problem.
