HI there! I've been wanting to try and speedrun this game for a little while now and I noticed that some glitches were discovered. First thing I want to ask is if there could be a Glitchless category and a Glitched category. Second, can anyone give an in depth guide on how to do the gliches. That would help a lot. Thank you

I have a google doc with all the necessary levels and notes on sparks/skill point allocation and character choices that I'm trying to edit into something readable by other people (it's slow going). I try to stick to that when I'm doing a run because the time difference between 2 rounds and 3 rounds can be quite a lot and some levels can be fiddly to get right.

That said, there's still room for experimentation! My route for the Daphne fight is 1 round shorter than in the WR, but also it involves a fair bit of movement which slows it down a bit (I properly haven't checked which is faster overall).

which might be a good place to start (having a 2-round Bedrock kill is very important for run overall and that has an easy one to follow).

The glitches for this game only work on 1.0.2

For most bowser glitches if your character can rotate with out moving then u should be good to switch to bowser I recommend starting with the terra flora one just to get used to it if you still can’t get it try tapping x as you press y to change characters sometimes in earlier patches enemies can behave differently like the first fire stooge can glitch or even crash the game

The current version (according to my switch) is 1.5.2, you'll have to revert to the earlier version to get the glitches (I'm not sure how to do this though).

if you have Nintendo switch online you can back up your account and factory reset your switch or if you have a extra switch/ willing friend you can transfer accounts factory reset and then transfer the accounts back (first method) (second method) my cartridge is 000 idk if it works on slightly newer patches I also don't know if you can run DLC on old patches
