This game is an RPG released in Game Gear on January 12, 1996. . It was remade as Magic Academy LUNAR! At Sega Saturn on November 20, 1997. The Sega Saturn version has the addition of movies and the implementation of synthetic magic, but the story is basically the same as the game gear version.
Since the publisher of the Sega Saturn version has changed from Game Arts to Kadokawa Shoten, the advertising power of the game software has increased dramatically, and due to the hard power of Sega Saturn, which was selling reasonably well at that time, the magic school LUNAR! You may have played it without knowing that there was a remake original game called LUNAR Sanposuru Gakuen.
The difficulty level of the game is overwhelmingly easier for the Game Gear version. (In the Sega Saturn version, the enca rate ruins the game, because you don't have to respect it all the time.)
By the way, the game progresses with a chapter structure like Jubekuesuto, and there are up to 12 chapters in both the Game Gear version and the Sega Saturn version, but the contents of the chapters are quite different.
Now that I've run the Game Gear version, I'd like to run the Sega Saturn version as well, but honestly I don't want to do it. I wonder if I will release a version with a corrected enca rate?

If Win is fainted, win is awakening medicine (Meimyaku's medicine), Ikoi.
You can defeat it with 4 vanishes, but if you can't defeat it, you should be able to defeat it with 1 more damage.
If you defeat Balaster, you will move to the town square after the event with Devil Castle Dee.
● Town
When you get out of the square and talk to the director of Still Academy on the 3rd floor of the office building, an event will be held.
After the event, we are moving to the harbor.
● Port
Talk to Win at the pier and the ending will start.
- At speedrun.com, the measurement section ends at the moment when the staff roll starts, so even in this RTA, the lap time is set at the moment when the staff roll starts.
After the staff roll, if you press the start button when a picture of Erie and Lena on the ship appears and only the music is played, you will return to the title screen even though the ending is not completely finished. There is a trap called . Wait for about 40 seconds after the picture appears and you will move to the next scene. (By the way, for a certain ending video, I pressed the start button with a single picture.)
The measurement section of this RTA was set up to the moment when the exchanges between Win and the others ended and the red curtain went down . The reason why the measurement section is different from speedrun is
(1) In this exchange of Wins, unlike the staff roll, the dialogue that occurs cannot be played unless the button is pressed in the same way as in normal conversation.
(2) Even Chapter 11 is treated as a section record when the red curtain is over.
For the above reasons, I personally think that the speedrun measurement section setting is inadequate!

After raising this RTA, I also ran the English patch version certified by speedrun.com, but it takes a lot of time because the amount of text displayed is larger than the original version. (Clearing Chapter 1 will be about 17 seconds slower.) Still, I found out that I can update the WR even if I ran under the same conditions as the pioneers, so I plan to run the English patch version soon. (Speedrun.com certified WR is 3 hours 47 minutes 47 seconds)
