've fiddled around with the strat for a bit, but every time i hit the magical buttons (whether on virtual machine or not), there's always a brief bit of chugma that occurs as the screen resizes itself, and i can't seem to get the strat working with the same level of speed that's displayed in the most recent 100% WR by mr spong bong, as there's always a couple extra seconds lost each time in comparison. to anyone else who's fiddled around with this technique, could you spare a tip or two, mayhaps? 'd love to go for the record in the category, but having this arbitrary disadvantage seems a bit unfair
mr spong bong here lmao
the way i did it was, first of all, i did it on my actual computer and not in the virtual machine (i used a ISO file instead of the actual dvd btw, since that and using my computer works faster) and i have a program similar to snipping tool called snip & sketch
s&s has a feature where you can make it so that if you press PrtScr, it will automatically let you snip
bc the snipping thing would basically exit and reenter the game, that was basically my way of doing alt+tab, since not only does alt+tab take longer to skip but it was just too finnicky for me to use a lot during the run
(also putting in a ss of an explaination i did for someone else in case i missed anything or what i said before didnt make as much sense)
This should've been done around a year ago and it's my bad for not realizing this might be an issue, even though this leaderboard has been largely inactive.
I added a variable that determines whether runs are skipless or not. Considering the most recent 100% run being much faster than skipless runs
