so basically imma do something quickly on how to do iron with ultra speed (as of 25/02/21 i have the wr with 38.5s)

dig down: ok so with the first dig down part you wanna be doing a strat that someone called blev/GILlee_PT found here's a link to it: basically you do what he did in the video, mine those blocks until you press the button, then you mine the 2 dirt blocks and jump as soon as you mine the top dirt block, then jump again but stay near the edge of the block otherwise you get stuck inside the blocks. you should pop out on top of the gravel, then just mine the block in front of you.

shoot 'em up: there's not much to say about this one, just copy what the top runners do lol 1 thing i will say though is that you should click as fast as possible to break the minecarts as it really makes a difference if you can, jitter click/butterfly click the minecarts, and they break like instantly if you can't, do it as normal, but if you are keyboard and mouse (kbm) you really want to be using that to your advantage

copy the painting: this one is the one that matters the most. this one separates a 1:00.0 run to a 40.0 run.

what you want to do is drop the stacks of wool on the ground. kbm: you want to be pressing CTRL+drop button. I actually set my drop button to CTRL so i can just press CTRL and run. controller: you need to spam drop the wool, but that means that there is only 1 painting you can do that will give you a good time, since there is only 1 painting you can use that lets you walk continuously and spam drop instead of having to stop and spam drop.

with this one, you want to memorise pretty much every painting. the good ones are: controller/kbm: the one with a long yellow strip at the bottom and a green T to the left kbm: the one with green and light blue going across the bottom, with a bush thing in the middle and predominantly blue kbm: i might get cancelled for saying this, but the painting with 11 light blue wool. even though you have to drop 1 more wool, you can drop it stacked as it will stay in order anyway so it doesn't make much of a difference.

a mistake that a lot of newer players make is that they do the colours in any order they want. which can work, but if you want a really good time you want to be leaving the dominant colour last (the colour that shows up the most) so then once you are done with the rest of the painting you can just spam click and fill the gaps instead of having to waste time thinking about where you are going to place the colours.

also, again, if you can, knowing how to click really quick gives you a huge advantage to if you can't click that fast. its the reason i managed to get 38.5s. if you click really fast while filling the gaps on the painting, the more chance there is that the block will place, therefore the less time you spend placing blocks. if you are going for a really fast time, i really recommend learning how to butterfly click/jitter click.
